Pre Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the sales activities at all stages of the sales process
  • Handle initial contact with potential customers for diverse enterprise insurance solutions.
  • Ability to engage in business consulting activities, capable of conducting detailed prospect interviews.
  • Prepare technical and commercial solutions for RFP / proposals.
  • Grow revenue and maximize profit from the insurance market for the needs in IT solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing or Education major preferred)
  • Previous experience in at least 3 to 4 functional areas: New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Reinsurance, BI/DW (MIS), Claims, Distribution Channels, etc
  • Must have participated in technical solution implementation in Java / J2EE, Oracle Database, and SOA based technologies.
  • Ability to build strong customer relations based upon solution selling
  • Must be comfortable in driving conversations and conducting stand-up presentations to “C” Level, Heads of IT, technical, Functional, Operations and Business Units
  • Must be comfortable in working with remote teams offshore in different time-zones in preparing technical and commercial solutions for RFP / proposals
  • Excellent consultative selling skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Self starter who is results oriented
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and business acumen.
