Job Description

eLearning Program Manager at Globalearning Center is a key contributor to the success of Globalearning’s strategic eLearning solutions. Reporting to the Chief eLearning Business Officer, you will directly lead a team of SMEs (Subject Matter Expert), instructional designers, eLearning developers, eLearning consultants and trainers to produce industry-leading eLearning solutions primarily for financial services industry. You will analyse & determine the industry curriculum needs and plan the eLearning development roadmap. In addition to leading the team, you will also be a direct contributor to eLearning program development.

We work in an rapid and agile development process, which means that we work in short, fast bursts toward a larger vision. To ensure alignment of course curriculum with industry needs, you’ll work right alongside business development, marketing & sales, and project management office, giving you direct exposure to the knowledge you’ll need to produce great eLearning based-on industry standard, potential market and existing customers needs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage eLearning Curriculum Roadmap

  • Work with  business development, marketing & sales, and project management office to identify curriculum requirements, set priorities, and develop the roadmap
  • Set and manage the eLearning course development progression strategy primarily across financial services industry needs
  • Coordinate internal and external eLearning team & resources to ensure a seamless progression in developing the roadmap
  • Communicate, document and follow-through on all projects so status is known and delivery target are attained.

Manage a team of multi-talents eLearning specialists

  • Hire and mentor the people who will help you create world-class eLearning program
  • Ensure the team understands the vision of Globalearning Center, and how it aligns with overall eLearning product strategy and brand guidelines
  • Leverage the values of eLearning content, technology and services to deliver the effective learning solution.

Ensure content is kept updated

  • Coordinating with instructional designers, ensure that the customer experience for accessing eLearning is seamless and inline with the customer’s goals
  • Contribute directly to the development of eLearning content
  • Share the workload with your team; this is definitely a hands-on role

Marketing support & presales

  • Work with the marketing team to build product packages & the marketing collaterals.
  • Work with sales team for presales activity.

Identify unmet needs related to providing the best possible customer experience through effective training…and take action

Expected Skills & Experiences

  • Extensive experience in instructional design and eLearning courseware development
  • Demonstrated experience with assessment/evaluation techniques
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision and seek input when direction is unclear
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong proponent of change and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Understanding of product development processes, from conception through course or product release

General Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with 2+ years experience in a eLearning preferred
  • 1-2 years staff management experience
  • Experience managing outside subject matter experts preferred
  • Instructional design, writing and design skills will be helpful
  • Exposure to compliance and designing content and products for a compliance training program preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
